CARE Statement on Daschle Legislation

WASHINGTON, DC - The Coalition for Affordable and Reliable Energy (CARE) is encouraged that Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD), joined by Energy Committee Chairman Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), has introduced a major national energy bill, the “Energy Policy Act of 2002”, and has committed to definitive Senate action on comprehensive energy legislation before next year’s President’s Day recess.
