Delaware

Delaware has the 15th highest retail electricity prices in the nation. The 2000 state average rate of $68.10/MWh was 2 percent above the national average retail rate. Delaware rates are above the national average retail rate because of their modest nuclear investment ($322 million) and their use of some high cost residual oil fired generation.
